Established in 2019, Woodlands pre-school is a term time only, Forest school inspired Pre-school, combining a love of nature with a fun, Pre-school learning environment from 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
Woodlands pre-school came to be when a dear friend of mine Clare Wilkie, decided that she wanted to provide high quality but affordable childcare for all. With a long line of jobs within the private sector behind her, Clare knew that funded spaces didn’t always mean free spaces and therefore a lot of children were being denied an opportunity to access early education. Since then Woodlands has grown from strength to strength, now having a full staffing team and having under gone a full make over inside and out.  In September 2022 Nikki the manager took a big leap and bought half the company from Clare so that Clare could follow her dream of living in Australia. Nikki is now the sole owner of Woodlands Preschool  and manages the Preschool on a daily basis and the preschool is going from strength to strength.
At Woodlands Pre-school, children from 2 to 5 years are able to investigate the world around them, beginning with the beautiful woodland surroundings on their doorstep. Children are encouraged to explore, investigate, and ask questions, resulting in inquisitive, knowledgeable young minds.
The staff are passionate about providing quality childcare and are dedicated to creating an opportunity rich environment for all children.
Woodlands Pre-school are dedicated to providing children with the best start to the educational journey. Whilst learning through play, we encourage all children to CREATE, LEARN AND EXPLORE.
